My husband grew a beard after he left the RAF. He only ever shaved it off once in 30 years. The youngest child cried and the older 2 refused to speak to him until it grew again. I used to trim it for him - but always insisted he shampooed it first. :D

Good idea, but summat to do with Accy hey ? Maundy Relief or similar ? No, not retirement home for ex-Stanley players please.
