what i dont understand is how they can make such a mess of such a small area..
in salou spain where i stayed recently the whole town was cobbled apart from the roads of course and there wasnt one raised cobble in sight or a dirty patch of tarmac yes i know its a tourist location but considering it is mainly british tourists i didnt notice chewing gum stuck on the floor etc either Quote:

Yes the white concrete on top of the black tarmac, has been covered in red grit.
It's a bit like the red sands at Teignmouth in Devon, and should certainly encourage people into town next summer to lie down and sunbathe, which will be easier than waiting for a place to sit on one of the very few benches. |
