Find an unlit area. A park or out in the country. Turn off your car lights then look up on a clear night. If you have never done this before then be prepared for a shock. It is not as you would expect. It is not millions of silver dots. It is a swirling colours of red and yellow and the like. You have to see it to understand or even believe it exists like that. Anyone seeing it for the first time will believe it to be the most awesome thing they have ever seen.

Amazing that so many have not seen it. Get somewhere with no lights. pitch black. then come back here and tell us all about it. Do it tonight.

I take it you don't live in Hyndburn the streets round my area don't have many lights working, but hey, that doesn't matter after all we can see them during the daytime.
