Moonlight

:e29: By the light of the silvery moon :e29: Have you noticed how beautiful the moon has been over the last few nights of clear skies. Came down in the morning thinking left my lights on, but not always like this is it ?
Makes me wonder how we would go on without our wonderful street lighting and if anybody out there remembers a time when areas were not lit, or indeed, not lit at the moment. Pretty scarey I guess.
And before anybody asks .. no have not found any unwanted hairs on my pillow in the morning.

me missus remarked on the moon last night, remember when you struggled to see it this time of year(fog) which seems to have virtually vanished these days! By the light of the silvery moon; little richard did a cracking version of that, lol:)

The night sky is wonderful at the moment. One of the few good things about a clear night at this time of year.

If it wasnt for the refinery in the way I might have been able to get some cracking shots. There is just too much steam and smoke to allow it that and the "candles" at full pelt.

Sorry Sara the candles are the flare stacks at the petro-chemical complex up here. When they are burning they sound like a jet engine and turn the sky an orange colour. Tried once befor to take a moon photo but the refinery emmisions and light made a mess of it.
