Two hours of my life wasted

We've talked a lot about favourite films and films we've watched a few times but which film would you recommend avoiding.

In Friends someone says Mrs Doubtfire is two hours of their life that they'll never get back and got to agree - it's not one that I'd rush to watch again.

And have you ever given up half way through a film?

Yes, but not without a struggle I usually get a hint after she gives me a black eye and puts me in an arm lock!

Main one that comes to mind is American Psycho ....... what a load of pooh! To me the film was made just to see how sick they could get away with being!

I must admit that I would rather curl up with a really good book than watch a film. I really love to find one that I'm unable to put down, especially when I have nothing much to do. Then, I go make coffee, get all snuggled in my bed and read....................

I know most people loved it but I fell asleep watching Men in Black. Another more recent one I was bored to tears with was Brothers Grimm. Wish I'd saved my money for something better.

I struggle to watch films full stop. Unless it catches my imagination in first 10 mins I get really restless. So hardly watch any. Although I could have sat all day watching the lord of the rings films

The Full Monty.

The film that suposedly revitalised the British film industry.

Everyone raved about it, but I thought it was just dire. It could have been so good, but it just went for the lowest comic, common denominator all the way through.

It could have really said something poigniant about the demise of British industry, and the emasculation of the once working man. Most people would have even missed that the character played by Hugo Speers, [the well endowed one,] was gay, except for one brief line when he declared his love for the ginger one. It certainly didn't have the whimsical charm of Calender Girls.

Vastly over rated. Never again.:(

American Phsyco was a wonderful film!

If you really want to see a bad film then it would have to be the Neverending Story. My God they got the title of that film right!

The worse films ever have got to be Terminator 1,2,3,4,5,1001,3076,907,1,0002..............07 at least it seems to go on for that long. The saying " I'll be back" bloody hell fire, he took that to the extremes.

Loved it as well, as I did the book.

The Book was great as was the film though I thought that the film missed out a few of the social comments that the book was trying to get accross about 80's society! Still, a damn good film!

Talking of films missing out good points. I read the book Angela's Ashes, which was a very, very good book indeed. But then i watched the film, and was very disappointed as they missed out huge amounts of the story that actually made the book fantastic.
