What price 24 hour opening when/if the nanny Government bans smoking in pubs? No point in opening 24 hours or at all if you can't sell beer.

Staggers has a piont the ills of society from drinking dont just llie with publicans. They are an easier target than a supermarket chains. I used to frequent a place that served booze from 6 in the morning after a nightshift and that was only because of a breakfast licience. Society needs to look long and hard at itself for the drink causing problems. Me I am quite happy to stay in a pub for a drink with a its friendly atmosphere than a club and all the trouble that goes with them.
