Wouldn't know since I cannot stomach more than 5 mins of the bible at a time. Even the audio version read by Johnny Cash, I didn't get much past his"I love the word" intro. Interestingly Mr Cash attempted suicide by drugs and "saw god" in his Illucinations. Well at least Mr Cash could pronounce the name Jesus unlike the majority of his followers.

My RE teachers. I had two. One was too busy kicking kids out of class and\or crying(over a copy of the book, no doubt) or the other, she played guitar and sang songs. I actually liked her. Knowing me. You would get the connection. Oh but the songs. They were awful.

Are the two separate statements you have just mentioned

1. We are COMMANDED to tell the gospel.
2. Nothing further is required of us. ?

If so which Bible are you using ?

Are you serious that Jesus commanded his followers just to tell the Gospel and made no other commands because nothing further is required of them ?

Really ... I've read it cover to cover because I love the beauty of the English language ... Piers Plowman, Canterbury Tales, Shakespeare, Marlowe, Jonson, Johnson, Milton, etc. ... and the guys who wrote the King James version of the Bible.:theband:
