To remind you .

You made this statement: " We are COMMANDED to tell the gospel. Nothing further is required of us."

What I want to know is whether you believe that Jesus requires nothing of his followers other than to tell the Gospel .

There! I told you that Neil was the sensible one but you all just ignored both him and me but if you want a kind of contest I will suggest a way. All those interested post what they think constitutes a Christian and I will mark your answers out of 10. If at the end of it all nobody gets any marks I will post the correct answer (with Neil's permission of course.)
:)

Well you aint a Christian, no matter what drivel yeh post, As yeh refuse to give JCB a straight answer, why should anyone be interested? So on that basis alone you get NIL Points.

Hang on a minute, you call Neil Intelligent?

He has just told us to ignore you and now you claim we've been ignoring you!

Now I would like to think Neil is intelligent and in some ways his advice is sound, however if he is correct, then you are obviously incorrect we aren't ignoring you, just not becoming the mindless converts you would like us to become and speaking our minds with a very free will.

Some of the posters on this thread have already proved they know more about the meaning of God's word than you do, so the scoring would probably be as suspect as you are.

Here, I'll give you your score for being bombastic:-

Now you make a good point there .

Why didn't I think of that ? ;)

Neil is just doing his job of which is to moderate the forum. His job is not to take sides

I am just keeping a promise I made to Mr Preacher that I would continue to ask the question as long as he is on the scene .

Yes copy-pasting comes in useful at times . ;)

Ah well, that clears up a mystery of Biblical proportions, I was beginning to think you had the patience of a Saint!

Here's something we haven't tried ... let's give it a shot.:mosher:

In the Name of Jesus Christ,
Our God and Lord,
strengthened by the Intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary,
Mother of God,
of Blessed Michael the Archangel,
Of the Blessed apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints,
We confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of Kevin.:alright:

In truth, I couldn't really care what k9 spouts on about (although it seems to be the same tedious & repetitive tripe time & time again). I know my own mind, my strengths & weaknesses so feel quite capable of managing under my own determination without having to seek/rely on tenets of an outdated/mythological/superstitious belief system.

Most serpently my dearest Cashmeister! :D All examples of my free will & spirit to choose (except the Scouser bit, I was born into that fortuitous position ;)) & not the directive or diktat of some musty fanciful tome.
