Liked the "Howard from the Halifax" ads and HATED the 2008 Xmas Tesco Advert with Des'O'Connor.

Another advert which bugged me was "Can't touch this" 2008 Xmas Argos Advert.

The advert which I like was the "It's like a Golf" VW Advert.

(now tell me you're not going to be singing that tune all day! :D )

Absolutely agree...

How about " A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat, a finger of fudge is just enough until it's time to eat, they're full of Cadbury goodness but very small and neat, a finger of fudge is just enough to give your kid's a treat" unforgettable. Bet you'll all remember that one too and keep singing it.

Jimmy Saville telling us all to "Clunk,Click, every trip!"

Cream cakes -naughty but nice...

Another dairy one from the 70's is "Watch out ,watch out, watch out, watch out there's a Humphrey about" Lots of stripey red and white straws stealing kids milk!
Don't see many recent British adds -but i can't stand the Direct Line insurance ones...

Afraid this thread has really got me going - anyone remember Reginald Molehusband teaching the country how (not) to park cars?

Remember those "It's easy at Carcraft" adverts?,
They REALLY annoyed me.

Another of my fav ads were "Something Good" Halifax ad from Thomas from Leeds

Most of these ads I have never seen of course. But here are a couple of ads, not from the tv, that really annoy me. A service station a couple of klicks north of here is advertising "Frozen Ice" for sale. An Ultramar gas station is advertising that on every thursday premium gasoline will be sold at -3 cents a litre. I don't know if they are the worst; but publicly displayed stupidity really bugs me.
