The word on the street is that there is a rumoured raid on the money being delivered into the bank. There was also a police van parked on the site of the old Co-op opposite the bank, as well as the police car.

On Friday every person leaving the bank was escorted to the door by a police man.

Any criminal worth their salt would have started this rumour, and have all the police force tied up outside the TSB in Ossy, then deftly pull off a cheeky raid at another unwatched bank close by.;)

Are you saying that the police are that gullible?

It was there wages they were protecting. :p

Newsflash....... Local police force caught actually doing something other than upsetting motorists and drinking tea. These brave bobbies have been protecting a bank............:D

There was a police operation in Oswaldtwistle over Easter - it was called Who's Wrecking your Neighbourhood. Apparently crime went down which just shows that if there is a police presence on the streets it will reduce crime. With an extra 50 PCSOs and Community Warden that a Labour council will provide if they win in May this will guarantee a stronger force on the streets all the time!

You'll have to speak to your local Councillor!

I almost phoned him this morning but it would appear all that is needed is his email address as a cc on an email from someone and the problem was sorted. I do like using the cc function. It is just as useful but not as sneaky as using bcc :)

Well that's an easy question to answer, and moreover, one that does not require the expenditure of thousands of pounds worth of Police time. The poeple who are wrecking your neighbourhood are the very people you have elected to preserve and develop it - HYNDBURN BOROUGH COUNCIL!

Surely it cannot have escaped electors attention that the clowns who recently prided themselves on providing thirty years of service to the people of Hyndburn are also mainly responsible for it being the 51st most deprived borough in England and Wales?
