If the level of incompitence continues like an infection throughout govenment how long before the warm brown smelly stuff is coating most Secetaries of State and ministers? If the gvnmnt had any commen sense they would drop the bad uns and try and get on with things that matter instead of fighting of scandels and sleaze. We need them to start thinking about the country not "were is the next gaff or sleaze shot coming from."

If there are to be any resignations or sackings. Do you think that they can also get rid of Patricia (the NHS has never had it so good) Hewitt too?:D

What makes you think they really did do 'it'? The whole thing might just be a diversion away from Charles Clarke.

I am not really sure what you mean in your post Neil....but the point I was trying to make, was that the revelations about John Prescott seemed just a bit too pat......and I suspected that the news may have been released to take some of the heat out of the Charles Clarke fiasco......and it is a fiasco!

Charles Clarke wants to clear up the 'mess' he has made of the situation...but if it hadn't been for an Audit Commission report he would still be sat on his hands. It is reported that he knew about the situation some 10 months ago and has only acted in the last two weeks.
Why should we believe that this man is capable of sorting out the situation?

Well they both, Clarke and Prescott, seem to be facing it out. The offenders are re offending and hopefully laying this pretence of a government open to a large law suit . Prescott is probably enjoying a cheap night out on his lover , with the proceeds from the tabliod press. Blair is in a corner developing a rather bad stammer. And we are out here paying all the idiots a bloody good salary for their wrong doings. Lifes a bitch.

Lets see if a set of bad results at the local elections might be the final push thats needed.
