'If' Gayle has lost to Britcliffe, she should take some pleasure in losing to someone who has twice lost the general election for the Tories.

Listening to the clams on aunty beeb they think dispite what certain people think on here national politics have had some influence on the outcomes.

The balance of power wouldn't have changed because the final result was

Cons 19
Lab 15
Independent (BNP in disguise) 1

Yes, I lost but I gave it a shot. At the end of the day what did I really lose? I stood up against the leader of the council and gave him a run for his money. I made a gain on him votes wise whereas everyone else lost votes so I guess that is a small consolation.

Well done.

You must be knackered.

When it's all died down, take stock, and hopefully you'll give it another go, because I'd be proud to have you as my councillor.

All this means, Gayle, is that the chorus' of "Britcliffe is a barsteward" and "hes fat, hes round, he owes me forty pound..britcliffe" will echo louder than ever across the country as the Stanley bandwagon rolls into the football league :D

You have put a warning shot across his bows. Hold your head high. This could just be the first round so please keep up the good work Gayle.
