I watched the program where they had the cheek to say that we the public waste water and we should be more careful and install more efficient loos which need less water to flush (just put a brick in the cistern, that'll sort it) and better washing machines and dishwashers. Oh yes Mr & Ms Consumer are expected to fork out money but the water companies admith they do not intend to fix their leaks!

How dare they tell us we waste water?

How dare they pay dividends to shareholders? Dividends should come from profits and profits should be calculated after necessary expenditure. Maintaining the pipework should be a basic necessity. It will all have to be replaced eventually so they should do the worst first and keep going until it's all done.

We have plenty of water here so lets see if they have the money to come and buy som at say £1 a litre and they pay for its transport.

won't have here soon, by the end of summer they'll be limiting suplies to certain times of the day, they'll be tankering your water down south, so the more you waste the less you'll have, they'll be switching you off for 6 hours a day too.
