Retired, so I do whatever I feel like. Fish, golf, hike, canoe, play footy and do odd jobs around the complex. Look for good travel deals on the net, looking for a cheap flight to Mancester later in the year.

The labour party are in desperate need down here, but then so are all the parties, they all wanted me to join them at one time or another. Politics doesn't interest me at such a local level. It's town council, some of them are on the borough, but a lot aren't.

i work for the DWP as an investigator of fraudulent claims, very interesting and challenging job, especially now that i have been transfered up to blackburn office from plymouth.:engsmil:

So as an investigator, does that mean you wear a raincoat & a brown trilby hat and stand on street corners all day, pretending to read a newpaper, but in reality keeping a beady eye on the building site opposite, ready to pounce on those dodgy characters working for cash & signing on?

IT techie I'm afraid, Major skills in WebSphere Application Server, Java Programmer, WebSphere Business Integrated Message Broker and MQ series. I l am also AIX/Linux, C++, HTML PERL, JACL and Jython skilled.

However, I also spent 8 years in licensed trade in pub/restaurants , qualified as a chef, and also spent 3 years selling hi end TV, video, camcorders, and esoteric HiFi

BTW Rindy! I've been in Mallorca for teh last ten days so it weren't me sat on Chavs knee! I've pictures to prove it

Actually I am a coach driver. subtle difference, I get to go to various seaside resorts several times a month in the summer. :D

i'm retired due to ill health - was my mum's carer with plenty of help from a carers agency down accy. Do volunteer work with our local Credit Union and do other voluntary work as well which keeps me busy.
