Money is important to those who have none, and to those who are greedy!
When I am skint I have about 50p or maybe a £1 to my name, when my friend is broke it means she is down to her last £50.
IMHO You cut your cloth according to your means and make the best of it

Money can't buy you hapiness, and will do you no good if it's piled into your coffin with you when you pop your clogs, it can however help you sleep better at nights if you don't have any and you dread the sound of another bill landing on your door mat in the morning.

Money doesn't matter if you have enough to pay your bills and feed you. There will always be those who want more, but they're miserable anyway. Money can't buy happiness, but it does buy security, and that goes a long way towards creating happiness. I can say that I have been rich and I have been poor. In many ways, rich is better.

Money is only important coz you need it to live. Money it's self dosn't make you happy.
If I had loads of it I would only give it away and spend it on my children and grandchildren.
So long has I have enough to get by i'm happy. The people I love make me happy.
Hubby,children,Grandchildren and my friends.

think your getting mixed up between needing money and is it important, you need money to be comfortable, it's not important, I'd rather have non than have a gold digger. Where shall I send it to tealeaf. You gonna buy me a clowns outfit with it, or perhaps you should for those that haven't voted no because of what you said. baaaaaaaa. If tealeaf tealeafed all your money off you now, what would you do? would you survive. is THAT important.

All the money in the world didn't make the Onassis family very happy though it did buy some fabulous frocks and jewellery for Maria Callas.

No matter how wealthy you are when your time's up your time's up, though you will be able to die in more comfortable bed linen.

Of course money matters and we all know it, if it didn't no one would have credit cards, no one would have to sacrifice family time for job time and we would all be happier.....................and I'd still have my house :eek: Money is the route of all evil and we all wish we were THAT evil.
