Air Brakes. It just pops up when you want to stop in a hurry.soon it will be law for every car to be fitted with on.

I’m surprised that it took the Yanks so long to figure it out. When I was at HMS Collingwood (Navy electronics training school) back in the fifties the then latest anti-aircraft centimetric radar was installed to teach us about maintaining it. The aerial used to be kept in the rest position that is pointing horizontally but when switched on the 1 megawatt output swept the accommodation area and people often complained of feeling itchy. Eventually they had to point the aerial skywards. OK! Our system wouldn’t fit on a lorry, even a very big one but then we used valves and large components.

With modern miniaturisation and a huge power output the next step is in orbit.
