Yes, and what is worse is that I didn't even know I had seen the great man himself......now how sad is that?

Well, to be fair, he wasn't exactly superstar material at the time. I saw Van Morrison at the very same venue later that year and thought he was a right load of old cobblers!

Having said that I really enjoyed the Yardbirds concert at the Con.......and cut their pictures out of the Pop mag Fab 208....and I DID buy their record.

Fab magazine,,,now that brings back the memories! I had their pictures of Dusty and Cilla stuck on my bedroom wall. Remember Rave magazine, as well?

Aaaaargh!...just realised that I've confessed to having a picture of Cilla Black on my bedroom wall! That's my credibility blown!

no margaret whats even worse- i missed it! didn't even know yardbirds had done the con and i thought i'd seen everyone- in my defence i must have been (a) on holiday (b) in the cells for drunk and disorderly.:D
