Will never go through New St Stress Station again it is the only station I loath even more than Crewe before its facelift.

It's one of the biggest bottle necks on the network, and no body will commit to improving the station or widening the railway entrances for more tracks. Dunno why you have to go to brum to change, The liverpool train comes to tamworth(vile horrible 60's station) or Nuneaton , some stop here too but you can't change here, we've only got two platforms. Although we have got one of the last surving livock buildings on the peel line, and it's listed.

Why you down this way mel?

their bus station - digberth isnt too fantastic either - i felt sooooo unsafe when i was goin to stanstead on an overnight coach and i'm not one to shy from a fight either!

I agree with that one Mani. I very often travelled from Plymouth to Preston on the coach. Bristol and Birmingham bus stations were both scary places with strange, creepy people asking for cash, ciggies etc.
