The red square on your posts tell's me you have minus karma to make up.:p

I get green karma just as often, and had 5 karma power or whatever its called, but it all gets wiped away when u get an infraction. Its nothing to do with having more red than green.

If you get bad karma it comes off your page squares as well, depending on the power of the person awarding it. When you have no karma or minus, you go on red, if you are a reasonable poster 'and sometimes talk sense' 'polite and value the opinions of other members, and respect them', you will get good karma and your green squares go up accordingly. I have only been a member a short time, and made some howling gaffes at first, I quickly realised the members of accyweb are a prety smart clued up crew.:not_ripe::D:p:not_ripe:

Salt hardly ever use it. The only time i really do use it is when i make salt dough to make the xmas decorations. My mum used to put it in everything but when she got ill the hospital told me not to use it as it was bad for her not to add it to anything when boiling spuds etc and we got used to it. The only time i use it is on chips from the chippy with loads of vinegar. Black pepper goes on spag bol - very nice otherwise dont use it. Vinegar goes on chips.

Well that's why we stopped using salt as well Shillelagh. My Mum got seriously ill about 20 years ago and was told that there was only a 15% chance that she'd get through it without being on dialysis for the rest of her life. Fortunately, although they're lousy odds she was lucky enough to be in the 15% but it was a huge wake up call.

We gave up salt as a family and since then I've even managed to persuade Chris to give it up too. Plus, his Mum has got used to not adding it at least when she's cooking for me or eating at our house - I don't know what she does the rest of the time, lol.

I use pepper still, particularly on mashed potato and the likes, but I'm not sure whether its bad for u. I like a bit of pepper though, dont think it does as much harm as salt and vinegar, though I could be mistaken.

Well, they were on about it not long ago Blazey .. but always going on about summat, aren't they ? Think I prefer pepper more myself these days than salt, but has to be the black pepper. Can never find a decent grinder, so have to get a shaker one too.

You do need some salt in your diet remember, so don't knock it out altogether.

Yeh but theres normally salt added already to food, so i dont see the need to add anymore than whats already in it!

Not disagreeing at all with you on that one, just that I can't eat without it.

Seems you have to add a little less at every meal, and then eventually you can break the habit, and it won't worry you, however I am weak ... just like can't drop off the cigarettes. :(

I guess its because i've never really bothered with it, and i'm still young so its not ever been a long term habit. Dont smoke either so I cant relate to that one. Not many people who I know at uni smoke either.
