Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
I don't know if you saw the headline in the Lancashire Telegraph (they have dropped the 'Evening' bit as thay now consider themselves to be a local DAILY paper).
The Iraqi asylum seeker who left Amy Houston dying under the wheels of his car, was bleating about his life being 'Hell'. This is the same guy who has never taken a test in this country, and was again caught driving whilst banned, unlicenced and un-insured. He was given a 200 hour Community Supervision order for his sins. Is there anyone out there who feels any sympathy for this man? |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
sympathy ?
people like that deserve retribution not sympathy....   although the " failed " asylum seeker bit made me chuckle (although its a sad story)....cant be that much of a failure if he's still in the country killing innocent kids can he  |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
He said he was only driving because he was scared of reprisals.
I don't know how he has the nerve to bleat about 'his life being hell'.....the person who gets my sympathy is the family of the girl he killed. And if he had been more of a man, he may have stayed and ensured that the girl he had run over got medical attention. |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Dont get me going,,,The asylum thing stinks...............
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
It isn't the asylum seeker bit that stinks Granny, it is the fact that this man has been repeatedly offending and he gets a Community Supervision order.....and the fact that he bleats about his life being hell.
If he went back to Iraq, would his life still be hell do you think? |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
criminal justice system isn't working in this country and hasn't for a long time.
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Margaret, have the article scanned so we can all read it. Then I suggest that all those offended by his comments should write formally to the Home Office, that idiot at number Ten, the paper the story appeared in and protest at the injustice he caused that girl’s family and the insult made against the tax paying public who pay their way in this country, not to mention the fact that we are paying for him to stay here.
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
I haven't read the article but I think the whole situation stinks. That man should have been booted out of the country on completion of his paltry sentence which he received for killing an innocent child. How dare he bleat about his hellish life. I have only one retort for this man and that is.....
If your life is such hell here, ****** off home.... |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
My sympathies go to Amy Houston’s family and friends.
That guy deserves a suspended sentence in the full meaning of the phrase. |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
he should be sent back to where he came from in a rowing boat full of holes and a huge brick tied around his neck
its not enough that he was here illigaly he went on to kill a child and all he got was 200 hours comunity service the way this govenment works his comunity service willprobably be driving kids to and from school or somthing as ridiculous |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
I don't know how he had the nerve to even comment on his life....at least he is alive which is a lot less than Amy has got...RIP Amy.
He got off very lightly and he should have moved far away from the area never mind reprisals.... he shouldn't be anywhere near!!!!! |

Harwood Red has got it absolutely right. At least this heartless, selfish, b******* has got a life. Boot him out, and then see if we can run him over with an armoured car back in Iraq.
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Doug, I would have scanned the article in, but it was last nights paper and alas it is gone.......I gave it to a neighbour who has wrapped her spud peelings in it.....I am not sure if you can access the story via the Lancashire Telegraph web site.
Oh and I had just better clear up a point....this man is a failed asylum seeker, but not an illegal immigrant. |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
for anyone who didn't see the article it can be accessed via www.lancashireeveningtelegraph.co.uk/news/
You will need to go into the archive and look at yesterdays date......it will bring up a page and it is almost at the bottom of the page it brings up |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Send him back to his hell as Amys' family have a hell of there own.
Just out of curio I wonder what some would get if they returned the favour so to speak? |

Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
agree 100 % with Jaysay, he should have been taken straight to the airport from his jail cell , military transport would work best , let the troops being deployed to Iraq act as his chaperones (just let them know who he is) . Maybe it should be the law that each MP has to put up a family of asylum seekers in their spare rooms, that will soon get shut of them
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
I would like to see them deported immediately if they are found guilty of any offence. Why should our taxes pay for their stay in prison? I'm sure the prison regime in their own country would be more of a deterrent.

Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
If that Iraq idiot is looking for sympathy
He will find it in the dictionary between **** and syphilus |

To leave a little girl dying under the wheels of his car and not help her makes this man scum of the earth IMO. |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
got my last post wrong so had to edit it sorry, well i have no sympathy for the man,you cant have people like that comming to our country, the law does need changing
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
couldn,t comment yesterday cos would probably have been banned, its as ive always maintained, its the SYSTEM that allows these things to occur that is to blame, far more than that piece of crap in the paper.
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Until the system is fixed we shall get more and more of this happening and all the same crud spouted. At the end of the day a life was taken and the recompense and punishment is F*&^%$£ P*&^% poor
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Of course no one is going to have any sympathy with this man Margaret .. why ask ? Was an accident I suppose in the first place, but the crime, of course, is leaving this poor girl without any thought of any medical attention, what sort of human being could do that ? That is the crime.
The other is, after reading the article, that he insisted in driving a car whilst banned... meaning not fit (by law) to drive a dangerous killing machine until he had better thoughts about it. He abused this, and should have been stronger penalties. Was heartened to see that Greg Pope and Nigel Evans are supporting a Bill to hand out stronger sentencing for abusers and hope that some good will come out of it, that would hopefully entail the abuser to be imprisoned and, in this case, deported. Calling it Amy's Law ... yes, let's hope it becomes a National 'catchprase' in her memory. |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
why is it you get less time for killing someone whilst behind the wheel ?,it seems to me that the police have done there job but as soon as it comes to court they get off with a slap on the hands, unreal
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Katex, I only asked because it appears that there is always some bleeding heart who will say it is a shame for this poor guy, had a bad start, lived in a war torn country etc etc..........personally I think they should ship him back so fast that his head would spin.
|
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
And did the Telegraph have to feature it as a front page headline? I'm sure there were other items of news that were more newsworthy....it was a contentious issue....and for that reason and that reason only it got front page status.

Unfortunately, until we have stronger penalties on drivers who have been banned (and insist on still driving) nowt we can do ... just optimistic that threads like yours with members/guests viewing and entering their thoughts will have some sort of influence, and get to the people that are able to change matters. Every little helps, doesn't it ? |
Re: Did anyone out there have sympathy......?
Yes Katex, you are right. I know that not everyone gets the Lancashire Telegraph.....and I also wondered how many people were as incensed as I was to read this mans' self pitying bleating.
Amy Houston will never have a chance at life due to this persons self indulgent and compassionless actions.....and until someone with some common sense gets to hand out sentences, then we are up the creek. |
