Shoe fetish!
 

I was at a friends the other day and she was admiring my shoes. She wouldn't believe me when I told her that it was my one and only 'high' shoe. I have two pairs of shoes, one with heels and one flat (both black), two pairs of boots, one with heels and one flat (both black), one pair of sandals (black) and a pair of trainers (grey). I'm not very adventurous on the shoe front and absolutely hate shopping for them.

She did a quick tot up of her footwear and stopped counting at fifty.

So, which one of us is the norm? How many items of footwear do you have?

2 pair shoes 2 pair boots 1 pai of gutties.

Did not include my 2 pair of work boots as they are for work only.

Well I take size 9 so only have about 6 pairs and a few of them are 'blokey' so not sure they count. My sister has a separate wardrobe for all hers so maybe it is the norm to have over 50.....to best honest the choice would stress me out!

Decent Shoes = 1
Trainers = 1
Work boots = 1
Walking boots = 1
Summer time sandals = 1
Slippers = 1

havent counted in a while but i tend to stick to basics ...but i know ive got shoes in bottom of wardrobe that ive barely worn

One pair of "Going Out " shoes/boots
One pair of dossing boots
One pair of walking boots ( Hardley Used)
Two pairs of Converse sneakers, one manky for cycling one good
One pair trainers brand new
One pair wet weather cycling trainers
One pair Wetweather/Snow boots
One pair tatty slip on things that double as slippers

Ive got about 7 pairs, 3 out of the 7 get a wearing & the rest gathers dust.

Thing is i find it hard to find a nice pair of shoes that suit my flippers & dont rip into my skin or cause serious blistering, i dont like most of the shoes that are in the shops for women & if i do find the odd pair they get a wear once after putting my feet through hell!! I had my favourite boots put in the bin as i couldnt get them re-healed i was gutted & cant get another pair:(

Just honest - I think I'm a rarity amongst women for having so little interest in shoes.

Well it all boils down to money or the lack of it.
I own 1 pair slingback shoes. 1 pair pink mules. 1 pair blue sandals. 1 pair slippers and 1 pair trainers.
