Thats true compared to the small number that are compatible

nVidia GeForce FX 5600, GeForce 6600, or better

It just needs one that can actually generate 3D without sharing memory, eg a proper graphics card and not one thats 10years old :p

Some of the ones it works on im sure are like £20/£30 which is very inexpensive for a graphics card, and quite frankly I dunno how people run games with anything lower!!

So my S3 is 10years old :eek: but the laptop is 12mnths or so old:confused: proper my arse more like finickety:(

S3 are crappy graphics cards, but on the bright side they're good for things like laptops because people dont need good graphics in laptops since they most likely wont be using them for games :p

How you getting on in SL Cyfr? Do you still go on? Have you built anything? Got to grips with the scripting and stuff?

I did start learning scripting at one point but I kind of lost interest because at the time I was having connection problems to second life which meant it took *forever* for things to load.

That's one of the main problems isn't it, it can be quite laggy.
