Re: Tragic House Fire In Accrington

Forgive me if this sounds condescending, it’s not my intention. I think we have to accept and understand that those that knew the family and those that didn’t will express their sympathy and personal feeling of grief differently, for some people, questioning or failing to understanding another’s person’s expression grief can be simply a matter of needing to share the common sense of loss we feel as individuals.

Silvermain if you find this matter difficult perhaps you should find someone to talk to, share your feelings if it helps you come to terms with this tragic episode.

You are guessing wrong. Quite a lot of people on here knew him and/or one or more members of the family. My children were deeply saddenned when they heard the news at school today. Your heartless attitude is perhaps only excusable if you did not know any of them. Even then I find it hard to believe that you cannot feel some empathy or sympathy for the people who have been personally touched by these tragic events.

"Sorry" does not always mean an apology. Sometimes it means "I feel sorry for you in your sadness."

R.I.P Adam.........when I heard the news the first thing that came into my head was " he gave up" then the next was " If there is a life after death he will be with his mother and sister" and by Christ I hope there is for this families sake :(

What a sad sad time :(

No silvermain i didnt know adam and i didnt know his family either. But to me to lose your family in such a tragic way it makes me feel sorry for the people who are left behind.

And yes i do know what its like to lose someone and its horrible and especially round this time of year.

silvermain I didnt know this family at all , but that still dosent stop me feeling the sadness that this tragedy the whole family has had to experience .

Its A case of try and put yourself in that position and god prey that you dont have to , but just for a second in your life just try to imagine the boot being on the other foot , Its A tragedy in whole context no matter wether we knew them or what , innocent people lost thier lives no matter what the circumstances and knowing them isnt an issue

Just a thought, supposing his surviving grandmother or uncle is a member here, do you not think they might seek comfort in this thread knowing lots of people are thinking about them.
