I too find my newish Accyweb family much easier to share some things with those around me here physically. Most of my family are far off in different States and are of the "suck it up, don't show emotion" type.

Pouring out our emotions in a forum like this can be very consoling! Especially when you have mates who have come to "know" you and lend their support through various comments. Sharing my hurt for Ian (fireman) who I don't "know" from Adam feels okay to me cause I'm becoming part of the Accyweb family.

I have a super support system here in Culpeper. However, I also feel that if trafedy struck, I would want to share it with with guys. As always, to each his own!

I'm so sorry fireman. It's hard watching our loved ones suffer. There is not a lot anyone can say or do to make it better.
But knowing so many people care will help. Our thoughts are with you and your friend.

Just a line to let my friends know that my pal Dave passed away peacfully in his sleep at 3.30 this morning. I now feel a sense of relief overpowering the sadness.
I dug out the words I found in my mothers papers after she died about 3 years age. I think they are wonderful.

HOW CAN I LEAVE YOU, THOUGH I KNOW IT,S TIME TO GO.
HOW CAN I LEAVE YOU ,WHEN I LOVE YOU SO.

I know the words dont exactly befit the relationship Dave and I had but the sentiment is the same,

I hope this comes out sounding right fireman. I'm glad to hear he has gone peacefully and is now free of suffring. He'll be getting a bit of practice in on that golf course!

I'm so sorry for your loss Fireman. Even when that loss is expected and sometimes welcomed, it does not make having to endure the loss any easier for those involved. You're in my thoughts today..

Ian, I am so sorry to hear such sad news, but pleased at the same time that his suffering is over, my thoughts and prayers are with you and his family at this sad time.
