Children In Need

I know it's only a week away but could we, as a forum, arange something to raise some money for the charity. In the approaching 2 years I've been a member on here I don't think it's ever been suggested.

Not only is it making a worthwhile contribution to the charity, it could also raise the profile of accyweb. If we can come up with an innovative idea we could approach the LET and Observer asking them to run a story on it.

My suggestions would be a 24 hour sponsored online-a-thon or a sponsored log-on-a-thon or something like that.

Stupid idea or something that could work? Any ideas?

They are not known for being timely with their stories so you might have to stick with the LEt as you also suggested.

How about a sponsored move-athon. Everyone comes and helps me move house next Friday and I'll give a couple of quid to children in need :D

PS There is no LET nowadays :)

Excellent ideas - how do you reckon they'd work? I'm up for it.
