so they,ve finally started work on it?

Yup the bloke who bought it from the diocese finally managed to sell it to someone who's done this before - changed a church into a house. The work started around a 3 weeks ago at the beginning of december. These placards seemed to appear overnight - after they started work on it but after one of the walls had been knocked down. They are replacing the roof and theyve sandblasted it as well. According to a friend of mine he's said to her that anyone who is worried about the church can go and have a look anytime. He's also cordoned off the churchyard.

does that mean you cant get access to your parents grave?

can understand the safety issue so long as its not permanent

It looks to me like the placard placer has jumped the gun and assumed that the graces would be desecrated. I wonder if they are actually mmbrs of the church and if so if they have ever attended? Presumably not because f they were then they would know what was going on wouldn't they?

So often people complain that churches (buildings) shouldn't be sold or shouldn't be used for anything other than the original purpose and yet forget that somebody has to pay the lighting, heating and repair bills but they do not contribute towards those costs.

Is there going to be separate acces to the graveyard do you know Shillelagh?

We were up there the other day and saw the digger but it was nowhere near the graves.

No cherokee i can still get to their grave - i was in there on Friday putting a wreath on.

According to some gossip i was told today there was trouble over there on Friday - i didnt see it because i was out shopping with my bro but when i did go over there was police tape all over cordoning off the graves away from where the workmen was.

Willow i think they are just keeping the access as it is - through the school field and in through the gate at the side.
