Thought I had got the wrong site at first. Anyway I've had my whinge now!

It's known as a thread wander Vicks. You'll find a lot of them on AccyWeb but more often than not we get back to the subject again before a moderator comes in a hits us with a big stick.

Don't start him off, it's not good for him to get him over excited.

I was thinking the same thing. More than coincidence, perhaps? This building apparently went unmolested until current events. And hadn't it once been a Christian church/chapel? Is it not true that Christian churches in Britain have a hard time maintaining a congregation these days? Use it or lose it.

I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult! :D

Very true. It always amuses me when people come on here spluttering about how this is a "Christian country". I wonder how many of them actually go to church? I wonder how many of the good, upstanding citizens of Clitheroe who are up in arms about this, bothered to go to the building when it was a church?

Personally, it always upsets me when licenced premises are turned into mosques (or any other religious establishment). Now, that's REAL sacrilege but I don't go chucking Noris through their windows.
