Jambutty, I publicy appologise for calling you a freak, and for telling you to go back into your iron lung.

However, I have found some of your posts over the last couple of days ignorant, and offensive to say the least. When politely asked to give evidence to back up your out landish views, you failed to do so.

My skin is thick enough, and I am personally strong and confident enough, to shoulder any abuse levelled at me. I forget sometimes others aren't.

People, who may be youngsters on here, or their parent's or grandparent's, who maybe struggling with their sexuality, I think would be hurt and upset by your comments, and I will carry on challenging and redressing that balance.

As Willow pointed out, Roy has posted many times about karma, and that he enjoys the mischief it creates. It is his site, and his views. I'm not acting as his spokesperson..besides he couldn't afford me.:D

So I will carry on challenging views that I don't agree with, and using karma, but I do appologise for any hurt I may have caused you.

Garinda (no kisses.):D

I accept your apology garinda and will even ignore your allegedly witty repartee with Billcat and innuendo re drama queen.

Point me to those posts and I will do the right thing. Of course your posts are not ignorant and offensive, are they? And pigs fly.

You may consider my views to be outlandish (note the spelling) but unless you happen to be judge and jury on this forum I am not answerable to you.

Challenging a view is one thing attacking it in a disparaging manner is another. I have never expected anyone to agree with my views nor disagree for that matter, I just hope that they would be accepted as is. And I would like to read other people’s views on an issue without having mine attacked and belittled. If someone attacks me I reserve the right to fight back and will continue to do so in the same vein as the attack.

I think that a virtual handshake would be right about here.

Rindy may occasionally be offensive:eek: , but I have yet to find him ignorant. In response to your posts, he provided factual evidence. He's also invited you, jambutty to provide factual evidence to support your views, which you have not done.

As far as I am concerned, folks who come to debate/discussion with no willingness to present hard evidence are in much the same position as the fellow who chooses to bring a knife to a gunfight. Basically, they've made the decision to lose! Is that really where you want to be, jambutty?

It's hardly rindy's fault that you have not bothered to support your position! You haven't lifted a finger to make it otherwise.

I can and I did say that!:D But only in fun.

I'll keep my drama (or "Comedy Tonight") on the stage, thanks!

I'll shake the proffered hand as well. :s_gupjump

Wonder if "outlandish" might actually have been two words at some point in the past. Given the meaning of the word and its derivation, it might well have....especially before English spelling was standardized. It certainly makes sense as two words.

Now, about "appology!" Are you playing with our brains, rindy? Or just an honest mis-steak (medium rare spelling error)?

Lol, no, a genuine mistake.

Incidentally the thread I once started, that resulted in the most karma, and therefore the power thing, was about people's spelling and punctuation, after someone had picked another member up about it.

This was pre-Jambutty by the way, so not a dig.

I think everyone should be able to post their thoughts and feelings on here, without someone belittling their argument, and commenting on their spelling, rather than trying to understand what they actually mean.

Hope there are no more mistakes, as I rely on memory and not Word or Spellchecker to check my spelling, besides my soup is nearly ready.:)

Actually kitkat, this type of discussion does come about quite often over various and sundry topics. Some of us have very strong opinions on issues that vary from our other Accyweb family members.

Lots of times feelings get hurt, folks feel offended, and after some cool down much is made well. I've been involved with some of these. I've also avoided some rather than jumping into the fray. It can be somewhat humorous and enlightening to observe from the distance the flaying of fists, hair pulling, blood letting, and the occassional bite in the butt.:D ;) :D

It's input like chav's car tax item that I find most enjoyable and placed at just the right moment.

We all friends again?

When were we anything but friends? The whole point behind karma is just one big tease, anyone that makes the mistake of taking it seriously needs to be forgiven, but, allowed to continue, giving us reason to extract urine from them at some later date.:p

Less, Why not set up Darwenweb? I'm sure the other karma babes would join you and then you can all be friends together.
Without wanting to revive bad feeling, as I can see this 'fly in the ointment ' has been resolved, but I can remember acid comments like "You'd get idiots a bad name" directed in my direction, If you have no power how can you defend yourself from these comments without loosing what little you already enjoy!
