Ban on Photos in Public
 
Some politician wants to ban taking photographs in Public places.To join the protest at the 10 Downing St. website go to

The more they mess the worse their downfall will be. So if I take a photo of say Broadway I am gonna cop a load for it well err I dont think so its still a free country. Its about time these idiots did a proper job or put them on the dole.

the general aim of this 'possible' legislation is to stop teh papparazzi type from invading privacy.

I find it strange to think that taking pictures outside will be illegal when probably 75% of the population are walking round with camera phones taking pictures left right and central. Then you get situations like car accidents. One of the best things you can do is take photos to prove the positioning of cars.

sounds like legislation that would be ignored as the Police would not be able to keep up with all the paperwork involved :D

So does this mean that all the purveyors of CCTV will also be breaking the law.

Surely this will mean speed cameras will be illegal too, anyway they got to catch you 1st, they won't stop me going out with mine :)

They cant tackle proper crime so they are making up new ones for us law abiding citizens cos they cant catch proper criminals!!

well its one way to reduce crime figures

make a stupid law thats easy to break and arrest as many peopel as possible

if i see a burgular and photograph him in teh act do i get arrested and sued by the burgular if i submit my photo to the police ?
