Re: ghost

Derek Acorah was supposed to be possessed by the spirit of a deceased Roman soldier once in York and he couldn't even pronounce the name properly - the name which the spirit was supposedly telling him.

It's usually good for a laugh though with all the screaming and squealing Yvette does.:D

Why do people keep losing the use of their legs?

Re: ghost

The business I used to run had a ghost called Mr Nobody so I put a clocking in card in the rack for him, he never did turn up to get paid.

Re: ghost

OK, dont laugh as this is really bugging me. You all know of my recent RTA and how serious it was. Just before impact i saw two dark figures standing at the point of impact.
Now the Police, Paramedics, Docs etc have all told my parents that in no way should i have survived and that a guardian angel must have protected me on impact.
I have also been told that when i was coming around i kept on repeating the words "Northern Belle" ....
The only thing we can come up with is that if i did have a spirit with me that was protecting me it is somehow connected with The Orient Express. When i am a lot better i will be delving into family history to see if any deceased family relatives have any links with this.

Re: ghost

Maybe it wasn't a train, maybe it was some other northern bell(e)? Whereabouts did the accident actually happen? I wonder if it could be location specific?

Re: ghost

Willow, it was North Bound M6 between junction 27 and junction 28 before Charnock Richard.
How far is Preston Royal Hospital from there. ??

Just remembered I read a book about Accy ages ago and I am sure it mentioned a murder on Water Street years ago;I remember thinking i would check if the house was still standing but it wasn't;I think it was in the block that has been replaced with the newer ones. Am now racking brains for more details !

Re: ghost

I wonder why that block was demolished and totally new style built there.

Re: ghost

I'm just watching "Homes From Hell" which is usually about shoddy workmanship from builders but this one has ghosts that they've got on video. Very spooky.

We used to live on Lydia St, nr bullough Park - never saw a ghost - but we would get up and all the ashtrays had been filled with water, the bath was full & all the towels wet - the blind in the bedroom was once raised when we had overslept - our, then, 4 yr old daughter asked "Is this house alright because I keep seeing things that aren't there" ......
