I often get up in the middle of the night -- glad you mentioned that the sky might have an unusual hue -- or I could have thought 'alien invasion' or 'those yanks have started WW3' :D

Im normally going to bed at that time anyway so no different if its fine might even go outside depends if its raining or not and how cold it is.... But my camera is only a little digital about 6 years olympus d380 so dont expect too good a pic.

It was last night, there's me, gets up, makes a flask of coffee, dig out my binocs, and what happens, its B***** cloudy ain't it, didn't see a thing, I'm miffed
