Please lets give the mods a chance to get their heads together to sort this out and be patient with them. It will be a delicate balancing act to keep all happy. It will be worth it in the end even if we have to settle for a comprimise.

I have now read all this thread and am still non the wiser as to what the flippin heck is going on!! I figure that Slinky and Flashy have been banned :(

But from what everyone is saying shouldn't this other member be banned aswell? I hope the mods have looked into this (as i'm sure they have) because this seems like a case of one rule for one.... ( but i really don't know what the original thread was about) I'll wait to ask someone at the meet what that was about, dont want to get anybody else in trouble.

In the end Spuggie is right we should just wait and see what the mods have to say when they have sorted all of this out.

My sentiments exactly Spug. The guys who police this site have a thankless task, one which I would not wish to burden myself with, so in this instant , let us get behind them, and hope they can solve the problems and stop all this bickering. Best of Luck.

:drunk: :drunk: As you can see by the number of posts in over the past two years, I'm not one for making comment on site. As a seventy five year old geriatric I derive most of my pleasure from reading your comments, debates and sometimes solutions, but occasionally can be drawn out of my hibernation, as on this one. I sincerely hope my enforced pennyworth has helped with a dignified ending.

I once asked 'in jest' what would happen if I stopped using Gayle (I got a bit fed up because I always have to be sensible because everyone knows who I am) as my user name and logged on with a new name - I was told that I would be found out immediately and both user names would be banned. So, I'm a bit puzzled if it isn't happening with other people - not that I'm going to test it.

So, what really gets me is why some people feel the need to test how far they can go before they get banned. It's almost like they wear it like a badge of honour, 'I pushed the boundary so far that I've been banned and bounced back'.

It's not a contest to see how many user names and bans you can rack up.

On here its like a big extened family and like all families there will be a falling out once in a while but everything gets forgiven and its back to normal. Compared to some extended families I think we are quite a balanced lot really.
