Worst one I have seen been a passanger in.

The Junction on Haslingden Old Road, the Major one that has had a lot of accidents.

The lad was driving from Queens Park way to Ossy at night, down the big dip and up the hill. the Give way at the top, well I dont think he knew it was there as before I knew it we have gone straight threw it @ 50 MPH ish.

God I went white and gave him the biggest bollocking ever, to say the least I have not got back into a car with him.

how about the lady 4x4 driver i met on a country lane who in sheer panic at seeing a coach coming in the opposite direction (bearing in mind you could have got an artic past me) promptly turned her wheels and put her shiny 4x4 into a hedge.
or the little old dear outside west end primary who when faced with the problem of an oncoming coach(not the widest of roads at school kicking out time when everyone is parked on both sides of the road), instead of pulling in to the side decided to pull a 3 point turn and promptly reversed her nissan micra into a garden wall.

to name just a couple.

I now wonder if I took my test in a manual one
would I have to take the theory?

and if I failed it would they take away my automatic licence

equally so if I failed both ..... maybe someone knows:

( I am thinking of taking manual lessons )

yes you would have to take your theory and no they wouldn't take your auto licence away if you failed

Only 50!!! You can hit at least 90 down that bit :D

(remember the faster you are going the smaller the window of opportunity for someone going across your path to hit you. this really is a case of faster = better :D )

PMSL. 90+ is easy on the straight bit but, the top bend must have been fun at 50 especially when the crossroad appeared :D:D:D

Nah, that bends easily good enough to be taken at 90 in any decent car(providing of course that you knew the road was going to be clear). as for the crossroads, he wouldn't have seen it before he was across it, its only 15 yds at most from the corner to the white lines, thinking distance at 50mph is 50 feet so he would have been halfway across the road before his brain had registered something was wrong.

I'm still wondering whats taking so long at getting the roundabout there though. I thought they had had the go ahead?

Purchase of land has slowed it down. Well that is Lancashire County Council's excuse anyway.
