I have heard of them but never eaten one -found this to see what they look like - decorative and edible :D

Besides the ivy, cyclamen, and pansies I mentioned earlier, you can also plant heathers and ornamental cabbages, without fear of them being killed by the frost.

Ornamental cabbages, for those of you who wouldn't know your Percy Throwers from your Gaye Searches.;)

It's depressing seeing the seemingly ever increasing number of empty shops in Accrington.

However, the town does look beautiful in summer.

The flower towers genuinely do have a huge visual impact, throughout the area.

Well done to whoever's responsible for still making good use of them.

They do brighten up a visit to the town, and they are appreciated.
