my mat never managed with the patch she ended up with a pen type thingy,that helped her quit,hope you manage to quit flashy and its great to see you back

Have reread my posts flashy and I apologise if they came over flippant.

I wish you all the best, actually my wife had a problem with the clear patches on her left arm so she switched arms and that worked (weird I know but ...)

Flashy, come in and have word with our pharmacist if you are getting nowhere but I would say check with whoever prescribed the script first. Richard is in on Monday if you want to talk to him.

I know from experiance that you wont give up unless you really want to. I've tried allsorts and am either allergic or it tastes disgusting.
I have managed to cut down by at least half the ammount I was smoking by listening to Paul Mackenna and using a dummy cig.
I got it in Asda. Looks like a propper fag and tastes of nicotine. But containes no actual nicotine.
Who knows I might even manage to give up completly.

one thing to note , put the new patch on in the morning , I went through a stage where I put a new patch on in the evening after having an pre- bed/after work shower ............bad move .....the 'patch' caused nightmares and hallucinations, pumping nicotine to the brain whilst sleeping ,
I've tried everything including having accupuncture (nasty Chinatown needles) stuck in my ears and I am convinced its mind over matter , I work in oil refineries (No Smoking)and fly a lot (No Smoking) and have no problems , but once in an area where its allowed I'm the first to light up , if the sodding things were totally banned /unavailable I'm convinced I wouldn't have the habit ;);)

i'm due to go to the smoking clinic again on monday, so i'll have a word then, cheers you lot for all the advice :D
