She looked more than a little concerned this morning; am glad I went with her as I don't reckon she would have got off the bus otherwise !

Re: All over bar the shouting .

She's fine ! Sat waiting for me in reception like a lost lamb, thankfully the headteacher had spotted her sat there and me stood at the gate and put 2 and 2 together !
She has had a good day, likes her form teacher and has managed to find her way around quite well.
Now she is sat studying her timetable and map of the school.
And despite her dad telling me not to mollycoddle her and pick her up , guess who turned up at the school gates just as we left ? !!!

If i had known who you were I would have said hello, I was waiting at the gates too because the bus was late/didn't turn up this morning so I ended up taking my daughter and picking her up. My daughter is easy to spot, she is always last out of the school door

We haven't heard any more about the children who started at new schools/nurseries how are they all settling in?

Re: All over bar the shouting .

Well she's been there a week and we have more paintings than we can shake a stick at, had a boyfriend after her first morning at nursery and dumped him by the Friday.

She enjoys it no end and didn't know what to do with herself at the weekend.

Thanks for asking.

Just realised that was my 300th post (only seems right it was about Jamie-Lee as she has posted a couple.)

Glad to hear she has settled, I found leaving my two at nursery really hard it just seems to hit you that they are becoming independent.
