It must be a very difficult time for them all, at least its going to be gradual and the babies are going to get used to the other set of parents before the swap, I suppose its better now than in a few years time. Hard to imagine what they're going through, thank goodness they dont take your babies away these days.

The last I read about this was that neither parents will give up the baby they have reared but will live as closely as possible with the other family. Blood is important but love and bonding are what really count.
