Never judge a book by a cover, even when that cover is an attractive pink colour. Not that it's anyone's business but my own, but the last three people I've 'known', all this year, have been of the female pursuasion, and I do know that revealing this might mean I have to send back my pink triangle badge, and my rainbow flag, to San Francisco.:D |

Re: Blackmail at the Palace
I don't really care which member of the royal family this was, bisexuality and drug taking have been part of that family's history for generations so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. The queen's uncle George, Duke of Kent, was a prime example.
What I wonder is, how did all this come to be taped? |
Re: Blackmail at the Palace
The last time a member of the royal family was blackmailed was when the future Edward VII, had visited, and then wrote letters to, two common prostitutes, and who then tried to extort money for the letters safe return.
Who'd have thought! The whole family is morally corrupt, and they should be deported back to Germany at the earliest convenience.:D |

Re: Blackmail at the Palace
I seem to be the only one who voted 'Charlie', and now it seems more likely (from later news) to be Edward.
I voted Charlie because of the audio tape that Paul Burrows recovered from Diana's effects and which was the cause of the police raid on his house - remember? |
Re: Blackmail at the Palace
i have to agree with ian
seems more likely to be a diversion away from the di inquest more so if we are to be given new information by the press boys in france ? |
Re: Blackmail at the Palace
At the end of the day who cares, I think we should find a blood relative of the last Celtic Kings and put them on the Throne.

Re: Blackmail at the Palace
Strange how no one has touched on the sentence possibilities.
15 years anyone? After all it is a felony against a royal and is much more serious than an old man being beaten up and blinded in one eye that got the villain a 3 years supervision order. Or will it get swept under the carpet and the police find something else to charge the two guys with? |
Re: Blackmail at the Palace
Why is Harry on the list ? thought the news reports were saying it was a Royal who was involved , not some ginger headed cuckoo

Re: Blackmail at the Palace
its funny how most of you are slagging the royal family off,as being german or queers etc,i for one like having a monarcy as opposed to a republic etc,and as for them being german, this dates back to the reign of queen victoria, who married prince albert of saxe coburg, this all changed with george Vth who fearing public outcry after the great war changed the surname to WINDSOR after their castle residence in the town of the same name, since then the only monarch to be born after the change and in this country is our current monarch H.M Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.And yes i am proud to have a royal family and i am a monarchist,GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
