Was more like sleet than snow, and there was so much water on the ground don't think it had much chance.

I was in Blackburn but noticed a car with snow on and wondered where it had come from. Didn't see any falling.

Probably from just south of Darwen. We had a thin coating of snow everywhere, even though it was wet on the ground.

I have a few drifts, about 4 feet deep, on my lawn. Nothing major, about normal for this time of year. The squirrels have taken up downhill skiing.

Re: snow....

I was working as usual, had rain, sleet, hail and snow. Just so you know, if you run your heating 10 mins a day through summer, there is less chance of breakdown in winter, and I won't have to work every saturday and some sundays, lol
