my sister is after donating blood but has just had a baby is it true that you cant until after a year or something

it says on the website if ya pregnant or a baby less than 9 month old then ya cant donate

no you can't give blood for a year after giving birth!!

I give blood...when they let me :rolleyes: usually I fail the finger prick :(

I think that is generally because if you have a cold sore it means you are run down and the last thing you need is to give blood

well i put yes cause iv had caesareans......because of that i cant give blood?!!
