I'm shocked to hear of both of these, I didn't really know Jimmy.

As for Den he was a friendly, lovely guy who will be sadly missed by many in and around Baxenden.

I worked for Den at the Vic..he was a smashing guy with a huge heart.he will be very sadly missed..

Dennis made the best butties for the pool teams. He will be missed. I used to have a laugh with him when it was pool night.

Well, some scumbag broke into queens pub and had a party, that was the other nite, aparentlly police found some red lipstick in a beer bottle.
Then when i went to the corner shop the next day i heard this kid saying that jim got busted by police (this is after he died),(thats how ignorant some kids are) anyway the kid was saying to guy at shop that they found armour and guns and all sorts, what this ignorant kid dont know is that jim had a collection of antiques in the house, thats probly why someone broke into pub on 1st place
