Re: My Mum

Forceten if I were you I would contact the papers, the fact that your Mum raised all that money for charity speaks volumes about the type of person she was to me. Whoever has taken her personal belongings is showing just how disrespectful they are. Other people need warning about this home and the complete disregard they have for peoples feelings. Hope you get justice for your Mum.

Re: My Mum

Can I just say here that the money is not an option. It's the principle of the the whole situation.

I would gladly pay the money, but what I am more annoyed about is that social services had such a clear cut case and chose to do nothing about it. That is what I am annoyed about.

I want to save somebody else going through what my sister and I have had to go through, My Mum had us to fight for her, what about the people who have nobody to fight for them?

For social services to say that they are doing nothing when they have had such a clear cut case............what does that tell you? And that is why I am still fighting, and I will fight until I win.

You carry on forceten and I hope you do win, as for social services, well with what has gone on in the last few weeks, makes you wonder what they do do to protect the vulnerable

Update

I have been to Jack Straws office and they have sent a very damning letter to social services. I have had a letter from Jack Straws office today to say that they have had an aknowledgement to the letter and they will contact me when they have a response.

I will say that Jacks office did say that since I had gone to them that social services would have to investigate the case and respond.

And I'm still waiting for social services to get back to me (they had a two week deadline) to investigate the second alligation of abuse that came out in the original meeting at the beginning of September.

I rest my case.

Re: My Mum

I fully intend to get justice. I will fight with every last breath I have. I will fight for the people in these so called nursing homes that don't have any relatives to help them.

Mum didn't deserve what she went through in the last 10 months of her life, but she had both my sister and I with her, and she knew that she was loved.

When I know that I won't be jeapodising any case I have, then I will post an account on here with what went on.
