I've just read on Sky News that 28 year old Hollywood actor Heath Ledger has been found dead in his apartment.

RIP Heath. :(

Last night an insider disclosed that the Brokeback Mountain star had been battling substance abuse problems for some time.

"He had a stint in rehab late last year when he was treated for heroin," the source told The Daily Mail, adding that Ledger was increasingly introverted at the time of his death

first reports are saying he was found in his bed and prescription meds were laying around , good actor , best work in my opinion was in the small budget indie movies

He was on sleeping medication, was struggling with sleep since starting his role as the joker. Said two tablets only kept him asleep for an hour. Could very easily have been an accident, will have to wait and see.

I dont think they're going to record his death as a suicide.

I didn't even realise who he was, I have only seen him in Brothers Grimm.

Report I read said he OD'd on sleeping tablets. What a sad waste of a life. :(

Well if you read about him he avoided those types of films, he picked his roles specifically and went for ones that where quite a bit deeper and more of a risk.

He didn't want that kind of image.

Apparently his role as Joker is played amazingly, much darker than the original one. He also has a film due to be released as a poet with a heroin addiction, which people have already said will be eerie considering his death now.
