Are the police ever going to do anything about the way cars are parked along Blackburn Road?? Going on today and a van just pulled up right onto the pavement and the driver just left it there and went into a shop. The bus couldn't get through and if there had been an emergency the ambulance or fire engine would never have got past. It is illegal to park on double yellow lines and even worse when you are on the pavement. Time the offending drivers got issued with tickets or maybe it will take a fatality for something to be done!!!!

As well as the Blackburn Rd car park, has anyone noticed there is also a large car salesroom running up Manchester Rd round the Oakhill Park area ?

Went past the Blackburn Rd Carpark today on way to Maplin in Bburn…it was chockablock. Something needs sorting out.

Going on towards Church on Bburn Rd is a bloody disgrace, just past the new medical place. Houses knocked down and all the land now covered in weeds about 4 foot high. Flippin eyesore.

its a shame that the regeneration scheme that was meant to happen doesnt involve that side of blackburn rd. those houses along the bike shop and the block along really need knocking down - then the road could be widened and the whole area wud look alot better - its almost claustrauphobic!

Why can't people just not park where they shouldn't? It is all good and well talking about widening the road but if the double yellow lines were taken notice of there would be no need.

I remember HBC creating a bye law about the number of cars for sale on a road. Shame they don't enforce it.

I wonder how many of the for sale cars are insured? Probably none. PC Plod could impound them all for no insurance.
