I dont think its would be fair on the child, too many people hate her and it will more than affect the child in the near future, also the child would be under the watch of social services for the childs own safety, it wouldnt be fair at all on the child, as garinda said all children are born innocent

Totally agree with your sentiment jackyalex, and Rindi in saying children are born innocent. Theres a lot in the old adage 'you can choose your friends but you can't choosed your relations'
What is beyond my comprehension who would ant to have a child with this woman in the first place.

This woman isn't a killer. She did what a great many women have done before, she gave an alibi to the man she was besotted with. She was guilty of being a liar, being naive and, not least, being underendowed with intelligence but she isn't a murderer.

The Great British Public takes it upon itself to be judge, jury and executioner in emotive cases like the Soham murders. Unfortunately the Great British Public, in its ignorance, often behaves almost as badly as the target it goes for; a paediatrician was set upon because someone's reading skills confused her with a paedophile; a boy wrongly arrested for the James Bulger murder was almost lynched by neighbours.

I can understand a degree of revulsion for this woman but, as happens so often, it all got out of proportion. God help that poor little child, it hasn't much chance of a normal life the way things are.

I think that sometimes we spend too much time considering other folks lives (folks who aren't even connected to us, other than by the media).......if we spent more time making our own lives better, then maybe the world would be a better place.
Just my opinion, you understand.

I think she should be left alone, for the sake of the baby, maxine didnt kill anyone, she just lied to the police because she loved this scum bag.
There a lot of women out there who would probably do the same for their fella too, especially if they think the sun shines out of their ass.
or maybe she was scared????.............

we will never know the truth!

The media are aware of her whereabouts and her new name but they are banned from printing any details that could lead to her being identified.

This only applies in the UK though so there is nothing to stop a newspaper in Spain printing details.

Social Services have said they will be assessing her if she gets pregnant haven't they? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I think she should be given a chance. People provide false alibi's for people they care about all the time, any one of us would do it for someone we loved, whether it be a child, a relative, a husband or wife. Most people would want to do anything to stop our loved ones being the accused.

She may or may not have believed he did it, she may have been involved, who knows. But she has been in prison, she has to live under a different identity. She has still lost her freedom even under that. I think she should be left alone.
