Maxine Carr Pregnant
 

I hadn't heard about this until just now when I stumbled upon a discussion about it on another website I was browsing.

Daily Express: The World's Greatest Newspaper :: News / Showbiz :: ‘The thought of Carr caring for a child is hideous’-

It was a parenting website so of course many of the people posting were mothers themselves and they were having a right old go. They were saying she shouldn't be allowed near kids, she should have her womb ripped out etc etc.

I personally think that she should be left alone. People are complaining about what it costs to keep her in her anonymity, and this will now be extended to her child, but she wouldn't have been given anonymity if there wasn't such a witch hunt against her from the media and public.

What do others on here think?

I don't suppose we will ever know just how much she really knew when she gave Ian Huntley a false alibi. She may be a liar but she was never in the dock for murder. People are comparing her to Myra Hindley and I don't think that's fair.

Myra Hindley lured kids into her car for Ian Brady, she held them down whilst he abused and then killed them. I don't think that Maxine Carr is in the same league.

People complain over how much it costs to keep her but if people didn't go round threatening to kill her there would be no need for anonymity.

I wouldn't expect her to be a danger to children.

I honestly believe that if she moved onto my street I would be civil with her but there would no doubt be some that wouldn't.

I feel sorry for all those women that look a bit like her and have been attacked because of it.

I realise that there is so much bitterness because two girls died and she lied to the police about where she was that night but she didn't kill them and I don't think she should be denied her own children.

I don't know her so I'd give her a chance.

I wouldn't let my kids go in her or anybody else's house without talking to her and getting to know her first but I'd let them say hello in passing to start with.

I wouldn't automatically tell them not to go near her because of what happened in Soham.

agree entirely we do not know, but i for 1 would not let me kids anywhere near the bitch, cos children are too valuable to be placed anywhere there is the possibility.

when i think deeper about this story, she was granted anonimity, so HOW have the media got this story? the police certainly will not have told em. also this news will really rub Holly n Jessicas parents noses in it, its another example of the gutter press out to sell newspapers, for me this news should never have seen the light of day. :(

Children are born innocent, and any child she has should be treated as such.

She was a silly cow to give Huntley an alibi, but she herself can't be held to account for the evil monster that killed those two little girls.

Sadly, we as a society demonise women who are any way involved with child killings. There are men who have been convicted of torturing and killing children, such as the killer of Jason Swift, who the law sentence and then release.:(
