Re: Cannabis

I thought the NHS only gave sativex, as a last resort, after the other drugs have failed to work because of expense
The problem with sourcing the illegal stuff is that it will probably be the stronger indica strains and they allegedly cause psychosis due to high THC levels.

The only other option would be to move somewhere where they appreciate the medicinal properties of cannabis something I'd seriously consider if my health was being put in jeprody by legislation.

It certainly is not the first drug they use, but it IS available.
My sister in law has had MS for many many years.....has tried lots of treatments, some have had adverse effects on her.....But now she gets the oral spray.
I don t know what the cost to the NHS is, but if it keeps people out of hospital because they fall less frequently, it has to be cost effective.(bêta interferon is also expensive but that is also used for MS patients)
Peripheral neuropathy affects balance because patients have their feelings(touch) affected.

If you source out illegally made oil you will most likely get stuff that is way too strong. But at your age Margaret, I think you have earned the right to use cannabis (even if it is illegal) as a painkiller, without scorn from anyone, and if they judge you, there is an offensive adage I can think of.... You don't have to use oil to use a vaporiser, but from what I have heard very good vaporisers are expensive, but vaporising cannabis is definitely the safest option.

Marijuana tax take nearly double expected in Colorado - BBC News

Did someone say 'TAX'?
With 12 times the population we could raise half a billion straight away.
You can bet your life someone in government is saying 'Hmmmm', as AccyE used to say.
