Re: Organ Donor Law ?

If the system should be changed, it should be changed to where in this situation, both the medical proffession and the parties involved should agree in advance that the match etc was good and sort the paperwork out in advance, this way, the mother would have been top of the list, it is hard to think that somebody other than the mother was a better match, so the recipient must have been more needy, but as was said, they had plenty of time to note the daughters wishes, and nobody took action, cant blame the system for that, and they dont have time to argue about it when organs become available.

The law pretty much does say that, but the formal process had began so what can you do?

This situation doesn't happen often enough for the law to be changed.

I was signed up as an organ donor but have since had to opt out. Pointless me being a donor when they will not use my organs
