Well the new way of touting for votes appears to be the telephone. Have had no leaflets and nobody at the door but just had a phone call asking for my support.

Personally don't rate phone canvassing, it could be anybody on the other end of the line.

I am still only the possessor of one election leaflet.
Certainly no phone calls or anyone on the step. It is almost like they want us to think the election isnt happening - perhaps they do they might be better with just party members voting. |

After taking part in the process a couple of years ago I have to agree that phone calls don't really work. I reckon that by the day of the election itself most people have decided whether they're going to vote and who they're going to vote for.

I had a letter addressed to me and pushed through the door by the labour candidate outlining what issues he wants to tackle locally.
Haven't heard anything from the Lib Dem or Conservative candidates at all. |
