I have entered a few magazine comp's but not won anything, however my kids win things from their comics all the time, mainly video's and dvd's and sticker sets small toys, no holidays to disneyworld/land yet or large wins, just little things, but its worth the stamps

I enter the observer comp from time to time, no wonder I never win lol
